SILINA is a deeptech startup that has raised several million euros to give birth to the new generation of vision systems, thanks to a disruptive technology that enables to curve imaging sensors (e.g CMOS) at industrial scale.

This major innovation in the semiconductor field aims to become the new standard of the imaging industry. It brings superior image and detection quality to vision systems & cameras in multiple imaging markets, with the added bonus of reducing the weight, volume and cost of these systems.

SILINA offers its clients turnkey sensor curving solutions. Having already attracted major players in aerospace, smartphones, automotive, virtual reality … it now enters its manufacturing phase. SILINA needs you in order to close formal deals with several partners and clients, and drive the spreading of the curved sensors standard across the industry

Your missions

Reporting directly to the CEO, you are responsible for the execution of the High-End-market projects. By coordinating the internal and external stakeholders, you ensure projects are delivered on time and on budget, and manage the various suppliers of SILINA in order to create long-term value. Your organizational skills, your proactivity and your thoroughness will enable you to succeed in this position. The position is based in Paris, with some travel.

Along with the Business Developer, prepare commercial proposals for the High-end market, including project scope, schedule, and budget estimates.
Carry out project risk assessments and mitigation plans.
Ensure smooth project execution by coordinating the various stakeholders : external (clients, partners, suppliers) and internal (business developer, production team)
Develop an efficient procurement / sourcing strategy. Negotiate and build long-term relationships with preferred suppliers.
Manage contracts with suppliers by assigning tasks and communicating expected deliverables, both for High-End market Projects and for the R&D – team needs.
Provide regular project updates to the management, with corrective action plans if needed.

Your profile

You have a BS or MS in a scientific or engineering field
You have 2+ years of experience as a Project Manager in a high tech industry. An experience in Semiconductors would be a plus
You have strong interpersonal skills and an ability to solve problems creatively
You have the organizational skills and rigor to provide clear structure to the project
You speak English fluently
